Rockford Fosgate Capacitors
i know a guy that has a few of these, they are 20 Volt , 1 farad digital- Black Sleeve, retails for 197.99 (http://www.mainstreet-audio.com/rock...capacitors.htm)
but he's selling them for 80-90 bucks, brand new in packaging. i might pick up 2, i have two high power amps, McIntosh MC435 amps, and my Optima batter cant handle it lol
im just wondering if any of you guys had any good experences with these.
i think all capacitors are most likly the same.
i hate rockford fosgate, if i get them, ill take the lable off of it hehe.

Lightning Audio is a division of Rockford Fosgate, so how do you know that Rockford isn't slapping a label on a Lightning audio produced cap. I think that is interesting. Just FYI
I doubt any of the caps that are made are made by their respective companies. These companies aren't in the business of making the components. They are in the business of making the product. I am willing to bet 70% of the caps come from the same manufacturer. The more caps you run will lower the overall ESR making them more effective.

there are few companies that actually make caps. the olny thing to look out for is not to buy "cheap" ones. stinger did a test on other peoples caps and even cut them open to find that some of the cheap ones were only partially filled.
