Default How to Capture Type R “Speed” *pics*

Tonight was the first opportunity to experiment with my new digital camera. I’m pretty happy with the results. The first shot is definitely my favorite – Photoshop was not used.

Camera: Olympus C5050
Settings: 4 Second Exposure, F 1.8, ISO 64, Nose reduction On

Money Shot – Trying out for Fast and the Furious 2

Philips HID’s (Both high and low beam kits)

I’m going to work on making a more stable mount. In order to capture non-blurry motion night pictures it’s critical to have a stand that does not jiggle. The slightest bump will cause a disturbance with extended shutter pictures. Here’s what my camera mount looks like with the old-school video recorder. I replaced the tennis ball with a rubber piece for cosmetic reasons.

Awesome pics! Is your new camera a digital version of an SLR? Can you change the lens?

It's not an SLR, however it's a 5 MP camera with a very nice lens so the picture quality for a semi-compact camera is impressive.

Here are some daytime shots I took several weeks ago.

I had planned on getting a C5050 as soon as Christmas is over.

Now I definately am...

It was either that or the Nikon 5700, but I don't need a Prosumer Camera or 8x Optical Zoom. Nice Pics, sir...

Is that Krispy Kream in the 3rd pic? You were at AOB and didn't say hi Oh, nice pics and that's a pretty cool mount also.
