I feel your pain. Ever since I bent the valves two summers ago mine hasn't ran right since then. For some reason I just had to replace the exhaust valves and inner and outer springs this time for being bent. I honestly don't any idea how they got bent. I'm thinking something the dealer didn't do the first time. I just replaced the Idle Control Valve two weeks ago for the 2nd time and now I found out I have a evap leak somewhere. Since October I've put over $1600 in my ITR and it still runs like ****. Oh, did forget to add it's burning oil like no other? I'm about to trade this peice in on a 03' Cobra and be done with it.
The evap leak should be a easy fix, but what should I do about the burning oil problem? Should I go ahead and put all new pistons in it? I was thinking about some JDM CTR pistons or something? What you all think?

Let me elaborate a little more. I work for Ford Mo. Co. so it would only make sense to drive a Ford to work. You putting a stereo type on me makes you no better than the Mustang guys that call you a little boy with a slow 4 cylinder.
I thought about getting a S2000, but why get something that costs the same and is alot slower? Plus, I'm getting tired of the whole Honda thing and might want to try something else. Is there something wrong with that?

Soup **** made me feel like he was stereotyping me by saying to grow a mullet if I bought a new Cobra. Do you think I'm gonna change the way I look at honda owners just because I might be driving a Mustang? No, that is not how I am. It's not like I would disown all of my Honda freinds or something.
Just for the record, yes my ITR is a big disappointment. I know somethings that happened to it was my fault, but it is getting rediculous on the money I am spending in repair bills. I never thought I could love a car and hate it so much at the same time. I'm gonna probably give it one more chance and replace the pistons with some CTR's and everything else that goes along with it and see how it goes from there. I really don't want to get rid of it, but I can't be spending the money I have on it like I have. It's killing me. I've spent over 1600 dollars in the past 2 months. It would be diferent if it was getting faster with the money spent, but it's not.

i'm pissed at my R too. it's just too damn fun to drive. i've had it for 22 months and i knocked out 34k miles. gee whiz, this dang car is just so troublesome.
