Hey everyone, i'm putting a stock gsr front strut bar into my 92 civic hatch and i'm wondering what type of bolts to use to hold it on. Are the stock bolts for this strut welded to the chasis of the gsr because I went to the Acura parts dealer and they said they dont sell the bolts seperate from the car? Any help on what type of bolt I can use would be great. Thanks a lot.

 

just go to home depot and get 1" bolts, i think i use the 3/8 ones. also get 8 washers and 4 nuts. everything should be less than 2 bucks

 

Thanks, that sounds good. Is that the best way, or are there any cars that would have the type of bolt stock I need that I could order from the Honda dealer, although I know they would charge an arm and a leg, and probly my nuts for.

 

you could also go to a junkyard and grab a set....thats how i got my gsr bar.....FREE w/ GC coil-overs!! YAY junk yards!!

 

Can someone post pics of the GSR strut bar installed on an EG (preferbly with a GSR motor)?
If there are no pics, will a JDM GSR strut bar clear a GSR motor in an Eg?
