Question about JDM hood latch

I havent put on my CF hood yet for my jdm conversion. But i was wonderin why people use the 90-93 hood latch cable ? instead of their stock one ? is it because the 94+ are too long ? or short ?

I believe the 94+ are too short. You can either use the 90-93 cable, or flip your stock latch around to accept the stock cable.
