I have lights that are hooked up to a switch inside my car, but i want to know how i can hook them up so that when i either turn the car on or the key to the accessories they turn on. Right now there wired up to the battery and i don't want it draining the battery if i accendentaly leave it on.

locate your illumination wire at the light switch or behind the radio and use a relay.

 

Hook them to the yellow wire or white/black wire at the ignition harness
