Default testing the waters

in 3 months im buying an insight and parting out my hatch (if all goes well).
i have no clue what it runs or what hp/trq it makes. i may dyno in the future i dunno. i know its in the 14s for certain. its hp rating is most likley irrelivant since the setup im using is in a 1715lb car.
*as of now nothing is for sale, im just seeing if there is any intrest in any of this stuff.

selling as follows:
long block (sohc nonvtec 1.5L):
d15b1 block, new head gasket (oem), port polished and milled d16a6 head. d16a6 valvetrain, i was told a d16a6 cam but it makes power in areas identical to that of an sohc zc cam. peak trq is at 5000rpm peak hp is aparently at 7000rpm. i cannot confirm the rpm of peak hp b/c my current ecu only allows me to hit 6800rpm before i get fuel kill. desktop dyno is claiming 7000rpm (id like to assume desktop dyno is not a realiable source of information but you never know). complete d16a6 fuelrail and tbody. i broke 1 or 2 studs (hell i dont even remember) off of the fuel rail. however, ive never had a fuel leak w/ my injectors or the rail itself. the injectors are 450cc 1st gen DSM's. they are most definatly not needed to run this motor. they are in there bc i thought i had a few fuct up injectors once, re-mapped my fuel curves for them and have been too lazy to revert to stock. all sensors work etc. intake manifold gasket is brand new (2 months old)

88 si transmission:
prolly no clue of the mileage. no grinds, not loud anymore (was really noisy when i put it in for some reason, its not any more)

si dizzy (i purchaced it in october from NAPA auto parts. coil has never been used since i use an external one. id put the stock on back in for you.)

msd modded pro cap and blaster 2 coil.

i built a cai, it ******* rocks. for sale as well, otherwise it'll see the trash

Apexi Safc

momo jet steering wheel and hub

pair of Nex racing seats w/ brackets. they are blue 1 piece fiberglass seats. 11lbs w/o brackets (each) and 14lbs with

chikara header (headmans import division if you want to call it that), 4-2-1 design 2 piece 2" collector

e-bay short shifter, cut, w/ momo ****. using the energy suspension bushing kit w/ it. very short, solid shifts.

oem **** is all good cept for body pannels and drivers side headlight (i thank the big red dump truck for that one). i think everyone of them has rust

I *trashed* my clutch 2 months ago. im waiting on an unorthodox 8lb alumnium (sp) flywheel and i'll prolly use an oem clutch disc and pressure plate again. have had no problems w/ slippage w/ the the oem disc. reason for the needed new clutch is because the throwout berring came off of one side of the sping in there and basicly ruined the pressure plate. Well *I* ruined the pressure plate b/c i drove it w/ the fuct berring for a week. once i replace the parts i will charge $300 extra for the $760 flywheel and prolly $50 more for the clutch since it'll be damn brand new.

just seeing if anyone is interested or would be in these parts in the future.

FYI nothing is for sale yet. i have no clue what my financial situation will be in the up coming months. if im lucky i may keep the hatch, as of now i have no clue. i will know where everything stand within the next couple of months.

keep in mind i own my own parts company if you need anything new let me know and i can get you prices on things. if i cannont get you a good price on something i will find someone who can. (the main focus of my company basicly. im one of you. cheaper is alway better.) if you need things for xmas i will not be able to get anything out by then. tis why my company has not gone public yet. i wanted to avoid the xmas rush etc especially w/ school ending this semister.

its funny how money works. If the month of october wouldnt have ever happened, i wouldnt consider parting out the hatch.

they get 68/61mpg (around there) i get 20.8 on the highway. they are reliable, have ac, have a stereo, have abs, are safe, 2 airbags, coefficient of drag makes some supercars look like hummers. they dont get reved on. they are very technologically advanced (yes and no to that, electronics are simple but dead *** logical making them almost unthought of by others) and the biggest reason of all: i cant mod it.

vince im in brookfield, feel free to stop by this weekend. we'll meet up w/ superhatch if hes in town. that way we can get lectured about sXe and commie ideas jakes the ****

even though there is no slip, i can vouch for the 14's for sure, cuz i'm a 14.7 with no traction, and he paces me on the street
