Default crx struts& springs on 5g hatch

just wondering if there is anyway my kyb agx from the front of my rex will work on a 92-95 hatch? and my H&R sport springs as well.. please help me. thanks

its what i got!!! i got 89-91 crx tokico blues on my 95 civic hatch. they'll fit if u get the lower fork thingy from a crx/civic (EF). thats what i did.

Sweet! I think I'll try that this weekend. I currently have some kyb gr2 struts for a rex and some skunk2's from a teg. Wish me luck!

weight difference? what do u mean? car weight and shock settings and spring rate?????

Of course the shocks fit...just use the crx forks too.

They work better then eg Agx's too for lowered cars as the rex shock will be around a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch shorter.

But depending on what spring you have you may not be able to use your springs...if they are coilovers you are ok. But if you got regular springs they may be too low for the front of the 92+civ.


yeah and the 92+ forks are thicker but it doesn't matter...its those h&r sport you might have trouble with it.The eg might sit a bit lower in the front.

thats cool, i didn't think my car was low enough any way. and if they end up not working great and riding rough then i'' just invest in something else. say i use the crx strut, but need different springs? order springs for the civic right, not the crx.
