well set up is good but I think a bigger TB and mabe a standaloe ECU would aid u better or get a thinner head gasket and keep old set up that would put u in the 190's

if you are running the skunk2 intake manifold, isn't that almost the same design as itr? so how are you running a gsr CAI on a skunk2 intake manifold? and also what compression are you running? stock itr pistons or aftermarket?

Do some more research your parts are not matching up correctly! I dont think u know what u are getting into!!!
Exactly!! A stock ITR can get those numbers with just a good IHE, and by good I mean well matched. You keep throwing money at it but have a few restrictive parts. Research and you will hit 190 easily.

skunk 2 intake? why not an ITR they are cheaper I thought they were just for GSR heads. Also those rc's are way to big I know guy's running 6lbs of boost on stock injectors that was a waste of money.

THE HELL?! you can put down 190 with just a good header intake and exhaust?! well slap my *** and call me cletus. i gotta toda header, testpipe, jdm kakimoto exhaust, j's racing intake, hondata stage 3 with s200 ecu and my numbers aren't even close to 190. maybe if i threw in ctr pistons those numbers will be achieved, but not with just intake header and exhaust. you donno what you're talking about stageone.

190 is not as easy as you guys think. a lot of the money will be spent tuning on the dyno. I don't think anyone has claimed 190 whp by just bolting a ihe setup on. i have full ihe and vafc and hit 169. with fpr fuel rail, smaller wheels I should see 175 and a fat midrange. Many of the people hitting those high numbers on a small list of mods have also done other things. Removed ps, removed ac, etc.

i agree, 180 is not too hard with IHE and few minor things, but 190 with that setup is VERY hard close to impossible without pistons or cams.

180s are attainable with just IHE:

A little tuning will get to upper 180s or 190. Someone here made 188 with just the basics and a Mugen ecu. And I do agree that it will take money to get it tuned properly.

If he tunes what he has properly and replaces a few restrictive parts he can be at 190.

stock JDM ITR pistons, head milled 20k...
I had GSR throttle body and GSR AEM cold air on it because I originally had a b18c1 but then valve hit pistons and can u say? "bye bye to head and block."
now im back with type r... might consider the AEM V2 when we see reviews.. are the 68mm Ericks too big for my set up??? thanks for your responses...

The question is how do you have a GS-R AEM on a B16/ITR style manifold?
