well ive had a 12w6 in a bandpass powered by a jbl 600.1 now i got enough cash for another 12w6 and imma head to goodguys and get the jl custom box.. good idea or will any box do?..ive gone with bandpass twice but now im sure i want an open box... but you guy think the good guys jl custom box is good ?..or i can head to this mom pop shop that makes boxs....plus theyd be cheaper...

 

Good Guys can make boxes. I did there for a couple years.

 

be carefull if you are going to have someone build you a custom box. ask around the local car audio shops to see what they recomend. there is a lot that goes into a custom box, more than people think. any idot can cut and screw wood together to make an enclosure, but the reputable car audio shops will accually engineer it for your car. the premade boxes that JL makes are designed for their sub, taking consideration for all the specs which will work very well for you if you just want it done quickly and easily. good luck with it and have fun.
