New FIM-spec Track Planned In Dallas-Ft. Worth Area

From a press release issued by GPX Partners:

GPX PARTNERS TO DEVELOP BOUNDLESS MOTORPLEX,
A NEW RACING COMPLEX IN WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS

DALLAS--GPX Partners, L.L.C. has announced the acquisition of a 1,420-acre parcel of land in Waxahachie, Texas, for the development of Boundless Motorplex, a master-planned multi-faceted racing complex. The complex will consist of three main race venues, the focal point of which will be a 3.2-mile-long road racing course, which will be both Federation Internationale de L’Automobile (FIA) and Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) approved. Boundless Motorplex will be developed over the next 18 to 24 months with racing events scheduled for the 2004 racing season.

That is awesome! I know that I was planning to Auto-X next season and that requires driving across central Texas, so I no problem making the 2-2 1/2 hour drive to check out a road course

 

god we need a track in minnesota.......and i mean one thats not 6hours away from everyone like BIR (brainard international raceway)

Isn't there a road course south of Fort Worth somewhere. I know that there is but can't remember what town it's in. I remember goin' past it and seein' a Viper pull into it and on my way back I saw him hit a couple corners as I went by. Hmmmm. I've been wantin to go check that one out, but I'm up for us havin' another one! lol

yeah, theres one around fw somewhere, but i cant really seem to remember where it is either. im paranoid android, he knows where its at. he goes there a lot and races his si.

Here is a listing of Texas track events so far, on my forum.

And we need a GOOD track that is closer to Houston. TWS is not far, but the closer the better.
