Default Energy Bushing question

Well I received mine in the mail today, I bought the ones that said they would fit a
99-00 civic si , 99-00 integ , 84- 87 honda crx / civic. So I open it up and look at it, the one piece that goes right before the shifter, the hole in it seems really small. I remeber the stock one I used was small to and I had to cut it so I could get it threw. I have a b16a engine with the linkage from hasport. So my question is should this fit ? Maybe the grease will help it slip threw. Any help would be great. Thanks for reading.

It will fit, just jam it through with enough lube. Its all about the lube and some muscle.

Ok, I was actually thinking of clamping this piece smaller so it would fit but I won't .

Also my piece did not come with the metal sleeves, do I just use to old parts. Also I re use part number 19 right ? Thanks for the help.

I thought the same, but hooked it on one part of the flare and worked it around until it slipped on. It took lots of that sticky glue like lube that is included (although I didn't even use 1 complete tube thing).

......however, there may be some issues with your shift linkage....get some measurements, and maybe someone other than me can measure theirs...
