i couldn't agree more with this comment. you can do so much more to your car with money you spend on putting on a jdm front end. only way i'd get it is if someone smashed into the front of my car...

played out or not, it's a clean look. those who refuse to do something though they like it because others decide to do it, is ridiculous. to let your hard earned money be driven by the likes of others.

and last time i checked, 4 out of 5 integras on the road didn't have jdm front ends. so far from played out in my opinion.

then again, that is also my opinion.

In the end after painting and installation it will cost around $5000 USD.

For that price, I could buy four 15" subs, 4 amps, dvd and PS2 in my ITR and still have some change.

Or a very nice turbo setup.

I have to say that is a great price for a beautiful looking front end though.

I think the only place JDM Front ends are played out is on Honda-tech and in cali
maybe. I living in PA, I have never seen a teg drive by on the road with a
JDM front end...and have only seen 5 at 2 large car shows. I guess in March
I'll be sporting the played out look.

tommy gunns, it's all in the preference. many would question you and say. why would you purchase a track purpose car, put about 200lbs. of weight in it?
also, used jdm itr front ends are going for $2000 on this board. i'm also including side skirts, a front lip and carbon fiber hood. How much do you think a body shop charges to install these things? at most you're talking about $1500. The work is just not that hard.

2000R, yes a turbo can almost be had but turbos are not cheap. you're talking plenty of money if you run a basic fuel system. i'm on my second turbo honda, currently fully built turbo gsr. not cheap.

Again, I just don't understand this whole ht.com notion of this front end being played out. It's an oem honda product. If this is played out, then so are recaro seats which I see plenty more of. I have yet to consistently see jdm front end integras roming the street. You guys make it sound like there's one on every corner. Besides seeing these at shows and events, how many do you guys really see on a regular basis. I live in New York City/New Jersey and I've seen one ever on the street.

Played out? Next time you drive around count how many Integras you see with the JDM conversion opposed to the USDM front end. Doubt you'll see many if any at all. It may seem played out because, well everything's played out on the internet.

4 G's, or 5, can buy so much.

*A new motor from ImportBuilders, or a buildup of your motor with tons of dyno time.

*A crazy suspension and brake setup.

*A turbo setup...not my thing but people seem to like it

*or, leave the car more or less stock and buy a shitload of seat time/brake pads with it.

EDIT - JDM front is so played out...I only respect it if you have done EVERYTHING else to your car, like "TurboITR", "sgT", or Mike M, or RBoosted...etc. Especially since it adds weight and in some cases will slow your ETs.

I recently got the JDM front end, not on my car yet, but i still dont understand how you people come up with a total of $5k. I spent a fraction of that, literally. the entire kit, Complete kit, including bumper rebar and bumper support, where other places (jdmhondaparts) leave out included, brand new, with paint, install and a CF lip cost me only $1650. There isnt much you can do to your car for $1,650.

EDIT: I didnt add the cost of the CF lip which was 250. Total with paint and install (by myself) will come out to 1650. The front end Brand new, complete was 1300 plus 100 for paint and 250 for CF lip.

Same here. I'd leave the $$ for tires, pads, discs, driving gear, driving school, track day & auto-x events etc.

Can't get that much fun from a JDM front conversion.

Some of you folks are missing the point of the original post. He was informing us about a cheap JDM front end he has for sale.

If your opinion is that the JDM front is played out then that is fine. It really is not necessary in this post however.

Good price and good luck with the sale

Exactly...Its like the Rota comments. In the DC area ive seen a total of probably 5 hondas with rotas on them, but b/c everyone on this board is Rota this Rota that, they are played out.

It happens on every board though...When I was on the Audo boards - Oettinger rims were played out - when I only saw 1 set ever in the area.

You saying you spent $1400 after shipping and painting?

Please tell me where you got that from, and I'll pick one up too.

There was no shipping involved, and the price has been corrected. it was a total of 1650. Forgot to add price of CF lip. MOB is going to paint it (only hood/fenders) and I am going to install it.

So many people talk about wanting JDM front ends, but honestly to tell you not many get them. I have only seen one "Integra" in Miami with a JDM front end. I still want one, but I also rather keep my $$$ in my pockets.... If I was rich, then that would be a different story... JDM is still clean and sweet. IMO
