i dont mean to say everyone who drives a honda is an *******, i drive one and i am not, and many of you on tehis web site are not. But when am out crusin around and i see a nice honda, i will give tehm a honk and a wave, or a littel bit of an engine rev. all i wasnt to do is give them some recognition for there car and what a good job i thought they have done. And what responce do you think i get from tehm? either the finger, a dirty look, or the jackass dups it on me and takes off. i dont get it. it may be just where i live but im sure its happened to most people. When i drive around in my friends jetta, every v dub he sees he waves, or honks and tehy do the same back. they give respect to other v dub. why cant we? ok im done ranting and raving. but in the future do me a favor, when you see a nice car give them a honk, and if some gives you a honk dont be an *******.

Its nice when people do a drive by honk. Others stop, roll down the window just to say, "hey, nice ride".

But you'll always see guys out there who are really insecure or into themselves. For all the guys who have hondas for the wrong reasons, they give the rest of us a bad rep. Life just works out that way.

 

That's probably because they're stressed thinking about the next thing they want to get. **** I know I am lol.

 

yea, i know what u mean, i don't even bother anymore, maybe to the R guys, but thats about it. I notice some of the Nissan guys are nicer, but still plenty of stunnas who hate.

honk at me ill be waitin to get yelled at; rev at me ill look at you like i hate you only because i hate punks who thing they are fast as hell and need to prove it to a civic; wave at me ill wave back, tell me i have a nice car ill say thanks, im a nice guy but reving and honking doesn't work for me..for me they just put me on livid side instead of the flattered side. Maybe it's how you're going about it?

 

I've had about 4 honda guys roll down the windows and tell me my rims look dope. Usually the stunnas in their 4 door civic Dx's with 18" chromies, altezzas, and large wings give me evil looks. I usually just laugh because their cars look so stupid and their expression is even stupider.

 

I understand what you're saying. But for me, in this area, if someone revs at me, that means they probably want to race, so that's what I take it as. If someone honks and gives a thumbs up, I do the same back, I respect other enthusiasts out on the road, even American cars. But on the other hand, the stunna that throws a 8000rpm rev at me going the opposite direction, or when I'm getting out of my car, to enter the grocery store, and a stunna rolls by, peels out, and makes a pathetic attempt at scratching second, I get

haha yup i have a 1.8T GTI modded up.. EVERY vdub owner waves and shows love..
honda kids are meanys....
what i like best is when i roll around in my friends turbo si and we wave to ricers saying hi, they rev and try to race.. then they feel owned when they see us go 0 - 100 in 13 seconds.

 

Hey man, instead of honking just give them the conservative And if they shoot the bird then, to hell with them.

only honda guys ive ran into that are ******** are those hard core drag racer types..and the ******* type R owners, and there are a lot of those guys in the ITR forum..i guess they forgot that their car is still just an integra.. but if you are one of the very FEW ITR owners thats not an elitist *****, please dont take offense.

 

hehe, I used to be an R owner, I thought I was pretty laid back, took the nasty wing off, I know a lot R owners hated that, hehe....never ran across an ******* R owner, but I know they're out there.

Maybe because people who own VW's are those trendy yuppie type, or maybe because most honda owners get rev'd by every car that thinks it's supposed to be a race car. Or maybe because the horn is used to alert people only? Hmm..

 

a lot of guys that are asses are usually drag strip hardcore guys that wanna race anybody who has a dropped car...or usually stunnaz with chrome'd out wheels and loud exhausts...any purist wouldn't race you just anywhere.

 

meh... i dont car im an ******* until i get to know you, and if you honk or rev at me i wont notice most of the time.. its too loud in my car for hearing things

 

i always wave back and say thanks. No one looks at my car though
