I use Turtle Wax's Microfiber towels for drying. They absorb a decent amount of water, and will not scratch at all. Take the time to make sure you always have a good coat of wax on the car. As well as protect and shine, it also makes it hella easier to dry. After washing, rinse with a low preesure steady stream of water, starting at the top, and go down to the bottom. Most of the water should bead off. Then use the Microfiber towels.

I also use the absorber. Just make sure you rinse it off really well before AND after use to be sure it is free of dirt etc. The absorber CAN collect dirt and scratch the finish. I would also recommend buying a new one each month or two. But then again, i get really pissed off if there is a tiny swirl mark on my car soooo, it depends on HOW immaculate you want the finish to stay.

Anybody still us a chamois? That's what I used back when I had a car I cared enough about to dry. Once I get my car painted and it looks good again, that is probably still what I will use.

Grab urself one of those nice big hard towels from a hotel and get a little wet and then sit in the hot sun for a couple days. Now you have a nice hard towel to dry your car yo. j\k. I use me a red absorber. Ive had at least 10 of these damn things.

I unscrew the spray nozzle from the hose, and rewet the car with just the open hose, the water runs off in sheets and makes for less drying, then I use the Absorber, which is excellent

water blade, then the absorber. Quick and fast. No scratching unless you catch some dirt in either.
