I'm renting a Rav4 now and I hate it....my back really starts to ache after long drives. I recommend getting a Ford Escape (I know...but before the flames, read on)

I rented an Escape the last time I was here and it was pretty impressive. It had good power, saved gas, and it was less than $400 for the week...not a bad rental. The RAV sucks in comparison (no power, eats a lot of gas, and uncnmfortable) I'm only 5'7" and I even thought ar was too small...

Look on the phone book http://yp.yahoo.com/ for local places near the airport (not national chains). This is the only way I could get cars when I was under 25 without paying a fortune.

I know Enterprise is one of the few frachises that rents to people under 25. It's gonna be tough finding something cheap but keep looking. Try some of the local companies at the airport as suggested before.

When I was under 24, I rented a car in Vegas for $13 a day through Alamo (I think)
They gave me a Neon. I had it for 4 days and only used 1/4 a tank of gas. I just drove around Vegas though.

enterprise and thrifty rent to people under 25. After renting from thrifty a couple weeks ago in florida - i highly recommend them...

fully loaded v8 grand cherokee - leather, bose, dual climate, etc...even the chrome rims
for a three day weekend - with the full insurance and unlimited miles it was just over 200 bucks.
check um out.
