I was looking at the Volk lugs until I saw the $135 price tag and only 4 locks
Must be black or a dark color.
Looked at the Gorilla lugs that are $30. One guy said they did not seat right with his Slipstreams and chipped a little of the paint
(Would kill if that was to happen to my brand new C8's)
Gorilla Lugs and what JCW says about them:
"Bulge design provides more seating surface than traditional tuner lug nuts. Lugs are made of heat-treated steel, chrome-plated or colored for beauty and strength. Ultra-strong chrome-vanadium steel key."

Heard a lot of good things about Macguard lugs, but can't find them anywhere.
I hear they are a little pricey but great quality.
I'm not interested in Kyokugen lugs since I've heard to many horror stories. I know they have updated them, but I still hear they are not that good
Anyhow, what lugs are you rollin' on?

Got the black gorilla's from Summit. They were less than 30 bucks. Some of the paint comes off if you use an impact wrench though.

How is the black on the lugs? Chip easily when torqueing them?
I would definitely Hand torque my wheels, so maybe I cna avoid all this
Sorry about all the Q's. Just got to get the 411 before making the purchase.
Hand torque and you'll be fine. I tried an impact wrench and it chips where the key hits the nuts. But the chips won't run or get bigger. I think they're anodized, but I'm not sure. For the price it really can't be beat.
I had black gorilla lugs with my slipstreams. I rotated the tires three times and they have never chipped the paint.

I've had Gorillas...pretty nice.
I am looking to get some Skunk2 nuts and studs.
NEVER PUT YOUR LUGS ON WITH AN IMPACT!!! What happens when you get a flat and you can't get your wheel off because you got the lugs too tight?

I have Kyokugen, and I don't like them too much. The key kinda strips so I have to hit the key off with my torque wrench
Rays lugs are on the way if RandD gets them to me

Anything but kyokugens!! They completely strip after taking them on and off two or three times.....I figured out how to get the stuck ones off though - hammer a 15mm twelve sided socket on the stripped lug nut. i almost jacked my TE37's because of those worthless lug nuts.
I want the VOLK lugs or maybe some black gorillas
