Needed a new frontbumper for my baby an just bought a new one from a part dealer here in germany... it's from the states and on the backside it sais:
for integra 94, so i hope it will fit on my 98 ITR?

 

won't fit if it's from a 94. Different headlights.

 

Bumpers from 94 to 97 are the same in the US. Bumpers from 98-02 are teh same in the US. Don't know if your '94-'97 bumper will fit your '98

 

Yeah that is def a 94-97 bumper wont fit with 98 headlights.

 

The first part was correct about he 94-97 having the same bumper covers, but the other half was slightly off--it's the 98-01 that have the newer bumper covers.... and the one you purchased is from the 94-97 Integras.... If you look carefully, like the others have stated.. different headlights... and there is not bottom piece.. remember 94-97 (2 piece).... 98-01 (1 piece)

 

the bottom peace is no problem - i'm anyway searching for a carbon one...

about the different headlights - are 98 ones bigger or smaller?

 

It's not the size of the headlights that's different. It's the angle.

 

You can put a '98+ bumper on '94-'97 lights (looks way nasty), but not the other way around.

 

You will have to get some 94-97 headlights to make that fit.

 

Dude, 94-97 front ends are as ugly as a 5 dollar ***** after a full night of 2 for the price of one... Do yourself a favor and sell it and get a 98+ front bumper

i can tell from the headlight cutouts on that bumper its not gonna fit if you got 98+
those are too round on your new bumper

 

Intelligent? Well maybe not, but he already got the answer he was looking for and since this is a public forum, I expressed my feelings about it. Let me guess, you own a 94-97 teg?

than you , that showa it the older ones are round and the 98+ are more oval shaped.

 

You should return this bumper and get the 98+ bumper unless you want to have other modifications just to have this bumper fit. I dont' get this thread any longer. It won't fit, what else is there to discuss?

 

Return it. The 98-01 headlights are bigger.
