Alright, Never did something that hard, as trying to remove all the black (power coating) on the OEM b18b valve cover.... Is there any tip you can suggest me, such as a special product (of course, something an amateur can by or use)... I intends to have it painted.... but I would wonder if it is possible to have the same paint and texture as the valve cover from a type R (red color).

If you just buy a can of Aircraft Remover (paint remover) and pray it on and let it sit it just washes right off. You can buy the paint, its high temp wrinkle paint.

 

that's how i did them, just wear gloves and long sleeves. googles wouldn't hurt..that **** burns

 

Aircraft remover...scuff with 3M pad afterwords.
