Default AF guage install

I have searched to the end's of the earth for this... but I have tried to install an AF guage, and I have no found any info as to where to tap into. I have a '93 VTEC. I first tried the ECU but could not find the correct wire (boy what a waste of ripping up my whole interior), then I tried tapping off the O2, but did feel like going underneath my car, is there a place I can tap it before it hits the firewall or is there somewhere else I can tap it?

- matt, thanks in advance.

just tag it off the ECU.. it's really not that hard. use a helms manual, and to dbl check you got the right one, strip back the coating and use a multi-meter on it... when the car's on it should bounce between .4 and .6 +/- some, and when you floor it it should go up alot more.. like .8 volts... and when you let off, it should drop to .2 or so.

Hmmm... I don't know if it's just me or not. I'm using the Honda service manual, and it really isn't clear to me as to which one it is (or the color). Can anyone look it up for me? All I need is the pin location and the color wire. And can't I just jam the wire in the plug so I dont have to cut the harness? I really dont want to be cutting, it's really tight as it is down there, and my interior will never go back together the same way as it is. Hehe.

one of the black wires off the first O2 sensor will be fine, if it doens't work, trying splicing into a white one... i can't remember which wire i used, but i've got a wideband now, so i guess it don't matter much to me... HTH, probably doesn't, but o well
