Default Those with Azenis: Are they really that bad in the rain?

I picked up a set of 15'' rims last week...and now there's a crazy storm in CA. I know my stock tires on the vx wheels don't perform too well in the rain..but how bad are the Azenis? Damn...now I wonder whether I should just go with the Kumhos since they'll last longer and probably be better for the winter season.

i drove on them pouring today, people always complain but they shouldnt be driving fast in rain anyway. thats common sense. slow the f*ck down. simple as that. *knock on wood*

They are only bad in spots where there is standing water and you are going too fast. I don't know about snow though but you won't have any problems in California.

you can always have new falken azenis for a cheap price if you bought warranty when you bought the tires, i did. if i ever get a flat and they can't fix the tire, i get a new one for $12, not bad.

i took 2nd place at a local Auto-X event we had and the track was puddled most of the day. i was on Azenis compared to my Goodyear Eagle HP's the Azenis by far are better on wet surface

Only time I would say my azenis weren't good in the rain is when I'm pushing them really hard in corners at auto X's they let go on me twice without any indication or feeling of it. For daily driving no issues in the rain at all.

rain isnt, and shouldnt be a problem with the azenis. They are 10x better than the crap stock tires that came with my 2000 civic and the 2001 gsr.

the Azenis also has the ST115 series..they have harder compound and the tread design is similar to the nitto 555 s..good in the wet..IMO its a better all around tire cept kinda noisy

sounds like you need a lil more torque

IMO, falkens are a good tire all around, I had no problems in the rain (atleast not with my tires )
