ok what color black should i get my wheels powdercoated .......shiney or flat......

 

although a very nice car, that question should probably be in either the Integra forum, or more logically, the appearnce forum. i personally would go with more of a metallic black finish if it were my car

Shiny, IMO flat black wheels remind me of people whose hubcaps fell off . A polished lip also greatly enhances the look on a shiny black/gunmetal wheel but I don't see a lip on your wheels. Good luck and post the pics when you do it (but maybe in the appearance corner next time )

 

im a fan of the shiny powdercoats personally. what you need to do is go to the powdercoating shop and ask to see their slides of color samples, and of course you'll have to look at them in the sun since some of the colors have tiny metallic flakes in it. before you have them powdercoated, get your tires removed and take a little bit of scotch brite to the wheels and sand off any tar that is stuck on the wheels, they do acid dip wheels to strip the old paint and misc things off but i wanted to make sure mine turned out flawless. dont jump the gun on deciding on a color, pick out your favorite 5 then come back the next day and narrow down your choices to 1 decision.

 

i agree with GUDE, i have my racingharts powder coated "Misty Lava", its basically black and it has alot of metallic flake and has a decent gloss, i love my wheels, and havent gotten any thing but compliments on them
