Hey guys this is where i thought i would post this question. If its in the wrong forum fill free to move it.
- Going to buy a itr motor from private party...says he knows someone at a auction and gets pretty much first pick on any car that goes there.

I do not want to buy a stolen motor...What can i get from this guy proving its not stolen....He doesnt live that close to me . so maybe if he gives me the vin first? would that help if i called the dmv?

- I dont want to contribute to these asses that are taking all these r's

ps - the guy lives in socal....so if any of you have had a itr stolen from around here maybe pm me your vin if you still have it..then i will check to make shure its not yours..
