awsome game, more realistic damage then anyother game ive played. also the other cars ai is much higher then anyother game ive played, u rub them they rub u back or worse. overall awsome game

I've heard about this....looks great! I definately need to build up a computer system now! Just around $1,000 dollars for a killer 2GHz P4 custom system and ...bamm... I'm there man!

build your own, im about to buy a setup for about $800

 

I do plan on building my own....so I can get what I want, and have none of that onboard audio/video crap for the motherboard - onboard is nothing but trouble when you add in audio and video processors. Plus If you buy a new computer you have to get XP...blah. Windows 2000 is where its at for performance baby!

Does it have an incar view, or is it arcade?

I just bought the game today and all I can say is, WOW!

This is so much more fun to play then GT3. The most amazing thing is on the first turn I slamed on the brakes and what did they do? They locked up and the car slamed into the wall! When was the last time you plaied a game that had realism like that. Also, the more you bump and smack other cars the more they gun for you. I also like how FWD, AWD, and RWD cars drive very differently unlike GT3 where all cars seemed to drive quite simmilarly. At first I didn't like the idea of having to play as the pre set character but as the game goes on I find it adds a bit of personality to the game that GT3 didn't have.

The only down side is that the graphics could be better.

All in all I would give it a 9.5 of 10. As good as or better then GT3.

Now all I want is a PS2 racing game that you can play online!!!!!!! GT4??

 

I'm so waiting for this to come out on the PC! BTW, does the PS2 version have clutch support? I can't seem to find anything that specifically states having clutch support for the PC version...or maybe I'm overlooking something.

I forgot to mention that if you can use the logitec PS2 steering wheel with the game. It's not clear from the back of the box but it does work. That's on of the main reasons why I bought it for the PS2 instead of waiting for the Xbox version. I don't see how you're supposed to play the game w/o the analog pedals because the brakes are so sensitive.

How do the physics compare to Grand Prix Legends? That's the first game i can remember being blown away by the realism, talk about overcooking corners....
