Default Baked headlights on 5g civics

I baked my headlights the other day and painted the inside flat black. I was wondering if anyone else has done this to their 5g, and if you have pictures. I have seen the picutres of the 6g headlights and they look dope. If you want i will post my pics later.

i did it the same way as the 6th gen civic. the only hard part about 5th gen is gettin the headlight lined back up when you put them back on.

shitty DIY is below on the next post.

Me too

heres a DIY

1. take off front bumper
2. take off little bracket thing below headlight(2screws)
3. take off headlight
4. take off all the black plastic headlight aligning ****(so all that is left is the glass and the grey abs plastic)
5. put in oven for 10-12 min(doesnt have to be that long, jsut enough to heat up the putty ish) between 200* - 250*
6. take out of oven and use a screw driver to pri apart(i found if you twist the screwdriver to spread it apart is a little easier)
7. mask off what you dont want painted, then start painting what you want painted. i didnt primer but you can.
8. put glass back on headlight after painting, and put back in the over on the same settings
9. pull out headlight push putty together and put the clips back on
10. use sealant(clear) if you wanna seal it up more
11. put everythign back together
12. align headlights(have fun, its a bitch)

sorry for the shitty directions, haha
