hey i'm looking into buying a legend and i wana get the 94 or 95 4 door b/c i knwo the newer ones have all the opions and i know that their is a type 2 motor in some legends like the coupes but do they come in the 4 doors and whitch ones come with them!! thanx a million!!!

 

94-95 GS sedans had the Type II engine as well as the 93-95 coupes. Type II engines were available with 6 speed manual trannies but these are fairly rare.

200hp for standard V6.
230hp for "Type II" V6.

Legends are solid!!! Family has a 92 legend 4 dr we can't part with.

 

Here's full specs on the power the legend makes.

Horsepower: 230 hp
Max Horsepower: 6200 rpm
Torque: 206 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 5000 rpm

yes, according to the #s i found around the time i got my legend, there were 1048 6-speed GS sedans made in '94 and another 1135 made in '95, for a grand total of 2183 ever made.
granted, there are a LOT more 6-speed legend coupes out there -- those were made from 93-95, just the 4-door sedans that are quite rare...
