You'll get better power with a turbo.

Search 'turbo' for the ITR forum (archived topics). There's some good topics using that search. Hope that helps.

I have a JRSC on my Type R. I think it is really fun to drive when it is working proberly. I have spent a lot of money trying to make it run better. I just recently got Hondata with 440 injectors, After hours of tuning it runs way better. I am also running 7 psi and all f the bolt ons. I love it, but it is a lot to deal with every once in a while.

Let me just say that if i had alot of crazy cash I would put a JRSC on my car.
The money to set it up right is no joke.

if you got the proper tuning i think 9-10 is safe and if no tuning then 6-7..

I know everyone has to start somewhere.. but should you really be considering boosting a car when you have no knowledge of doing so? Research, then ask imo.. but whatever, I'll digress.

-Dave, who would use a turbo instead of SC but whatever floats j00r boat.

putting a blower on an r is easy and not too expensive. much cheaper thanb na or turbo. runbs great. but make sure SC power is the type of power you want. gives great low end and midrange torue. great for daily driving, autoX and road racaing. not for drag racing. i LOVE my JTRSC ITR

I prefer N/A myself..... but to the F/I crowd I lended my car out to be a guinea pig to Procharger and their kit should be out shortly. The fitment was good and has a front mount intercooler. The placement of the compresssor isn't the best, you must relocate the washer fluid jug but that is the only thing "I" didn't like about it. No I didn't test drive it b/c they still needed to fab some stuff up but in about 2 weeks maybe. They got a 00 Si done and it ran 13.4 @ 112 on 17" BFG drag tires with only an axle back exhaust kit. It was at SEMA so some of you may have saw and critiqued it already.

Sorry... they wouldn't let me take pics of my baby or the Si
