Default Headers vs Stock manifold, '96 LX

OK, I posted for an opinion on the EX manifold, got a "won't work"! Any one want to opine on the advantage of headers over stock manifold vs some other improvement I could make. say different exhaust, pulleys etc.?

Depends on what headers. I've seen headers on other cars that make no improvement (a.k.a. ZERO) increase in Hp or torque except in some ridiculous range. Like .8hp at 6900rpm which you might hit 1% of the time when your driving the car

first off, the ex manifold will work, you'll just have to extend the o2 sensor wire.

the advantage is the smoother flow path and bend design. the different types of headers (i.e., 4-1, 4-2-1 and short or long primaries, etc.) is a matter of personal preference and what you expect from the header.
