I 've been busy with work,(always before x'mas) and haven't been back to this forum...i did a search and nothing seems to come up, let me know if this is a re post. i think the DC-5R is gonna get a little face lift.... or rumor has it anyways...

Well as it stands now most people think the DC-5 R is not going to make it. I believe it is, but its useless to argue about it. Only time will tell.

If it does come though, I doubt it will get the facelift.

You're right about not being here for a while. I vaguely remember seeing those pictures some time ago.

 

I don't get it, that's not even the DC5. That computer generated picture is from 3 years ago when rumors of what the new Integra was going to look like were flying around. Were you not aware the DC5R is already out in Japan?

You can easily tell the botoom half following that diagonal line to the back is from our dc2r.

 

I say photoshop. Those headlights are straight off the 7th gen civics.

Well, there are rumors that, due to poor sales, the DC5R in Japan will receive a makeover of sorts which will include a change in styling (probably slight) along with suspension and powertrain improvements.

As far as I'm concerned the DC5's problems have nothing to do with styling and everything to do with its strut-based suspension. And its excess mass. And its higher centre of gravity. And its cable shifter.

 

A member in the "RSX" forum says his local (Maryland) Acura dealer says the RSX-R is comming but no release dates are set.
