My friend found an Mugen replica wing made of entirely carbon fiber, including the base for hella cheap. Just wondering if mugen even makes theirs out of carbon fiber?

Sorry to sound like a ***** and a board *****, but awhile back when someone asked for a fake Type-R wing, it seems like your company did offer to sell it to one of the board members. Then, on the Club RSX board, screen name Spikey, who posts alot of pictures on this board along with being a major AJ promoter states that knock off items is available at AJ when requested: http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread...threadid=56793
This along with 9 months ago on the SK2I board when the Spoon Replica S2000 carbon airintake duct was being promoted by the same company. I really wonder how one can say to knockoffs when the same company offers a variety of them.

 

Not everyone in this world can afford Mugen and Spoon products, just like the computer you may be using to post, it may not be a SONY or IBM; just some **** made in China or Taiwan

 

but somebody got a quote from you for knockoff (replica) dc5 front lip and you said the fitment maybe a problem but you still can get it for him,...

LOL Someone did their homework. Someone else just got stumped. Amazing how money talks and BS walks. They say to reproduction yet take your order when you call. LOL

 

Just because a company has access to a certain part for customers, doesn't mean they can't express their own opinions. You think every single "import shop" that sells altezzas, think that altezzas look sweet? No, they are just looking to make money off of people stupid enough to pay for stuff like that. Replica parts are cheaply made, Mugen parts aren't. To me it's worth the extra whatever to know I'm putting quality on my car, and not crap.

it doesnt look that bad but for how much it is, i dont think it looks good. mugen is just plain expensive

 

ABS wing, ABS Base, Aluminum stands and also Carbon Fibre lay on pieces for the Side winglets.... I believe it is in our website for $269 or so??!??! Just want to irriterate that we are noit heavily promoting these items however just offering the best of both worlds to suit the needs of people's demand... I don't like knock off is my opinion. I have been through a lot of copied products which have trouble for fitting and quality. Ofcuz, not everybody can afford original so that's why copied parts were made.

Businesswise, if customer asked for it then we have to sell it but I will make sure I have note to customer that there might be some fitting or quality issues
