ok, theres was some posts about this topic a while back, but i really need to know. i know that they are the same IN THE DAYTIME!, but when the lights go out they are supposedly amber, well mine are more orange than amber. i have the usdm itr cd player, and a jdm itr climate control, they DO NOT match, is it just me?, or are all itr's lookin like this?? and if its different, anyone wanna trade their usdm cc for a jdm one? <~ mixed emotions...... please help.

For some reason your cd player looks weird, like the color orange that my prelude had...The climate control looks just like usdm though.

 

so it might be because of my cd player, i know its off an itr, cause its my cousin's 01 itr..... usdm of course

 

mine's match. i'm using a 99 SI cd player with the jdm climate control

Replace the lightbulbs maybe? JDM lightbulbs vs USDM... intensitity?

 

The 99-00 Si CD Player lights up *VERY* orange. Your CD Player looks like one from a Prelude not an ITR. The ITR amber all matches (cluster, climate control, cd player). I have Si Climate Control, CD Player and ITR cluster and they are all the same color orange (people call it amber).

uh I could be wrong by saying this BUT, WHY THE F#CK does it matter?? Does the car run? Does the radio play? Does the heat come on??? STOP being so picky its a HONDA. (Man I need to get an M3 soon)

furthermore, everyone's computer monitor and camera is a little different. one might look very orange, one might be not so orange. So these pics you are looking for might not help that much and possibly even add to the carnageness of it all.

 

i wouldnt have gone through all that trouble if knew it was goig to end up this way, i would have left it stock, why are you flaming me, i thought this board was meant to help honda owners. just wondering what others looked like.

He just wants to know if the usdm type R climate controls match the deck or if the jdm controls are a differnt color from the us counterparts. Not anyones opinion.
