Default AEM pulleys

Do they provide and significant gains, I am looking to start upgrading my d16z6/y8 combo. Any impressions on them are appreciated, also can 88-91 d16a6 pulleys be used on the z6 or y8?

I tried to run an HF pully on my Si (D16A6)... It did rev faster, however the vibration it picked-up would rattle your teeth. It would have ended up ruining my lower end, or actually having the pully shear off in time. After the sc install, it was even worse...

I was told it had something to do with the AC, however I don't know how true that is...
