My car dies when I hit bumps...
When ever I hit a bump my car will hesitate if I'm in gear, or just die if I am in neutral or have the clutch in. Any ideas as to what the source of the problem is?

I had that problem. My ecu clip was loose at the time. I hit a bump and my car putted and stalled. then it wouldnt start some of the time, then i clipped it back in. So.... check your clips, check wiring inside the car and make sure everything is connected correctly. it definitely sounds like a short in the wiring. you may be throwing a code also, wich would indicate the loose wire.
Hmmm, i just installed my SMC so I don't have the cover or anything on the ECU, I just have it bolted down. My guess is that I just didnt clip the clips in there good enough. Keep the ideas coming though, in case that's not my problem.

With the car idleing with emergency brake on check your wiring by wiggling. everything. odds are you'll find the offenting problem. Most likely a bad or loose conection on something.
its def. an electrical problem...
check the "reluctor" wires - a clip with two wires (blue and black) running from next to the dist. to the igniter inside the dist i believe.
i had the same problem and every time these wires moved the car would cut off.

I pushed the ECU plugs in further and straightened out the wires down there and the problem seems to have went away. Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.
