Default dyno plot

i have a 97 JDM ITR motor w/these mods:
- fairly restrictive stock 99-00 Si intake (diameter does not match to the ITR TB)
- Kenji obd1 conversion harness + Kenji's p28 ecu
- Mugen headgasket

the thing i'm wondering about is why they didn't let it go to atleast 8400 (Kenji's ecu can go to 9100). it looks like i'm still making good power, so i was thinking it would be closer to 170 whp instead of 167.9? either way i'm pretty happy.

also, the tech/tuner (donny from ISA in tacoma).. recommended an FPR as my next upgrade. look at my POS torque curve

anyways, feed back? tips/suggestions? sgT?

looks like you could pick up a few ponies if the revved it higher. Might want to get a VAFC or hondata and lower that VTEC x-over to get rid of that dip.

FPR Seen awesome gains from them... I'm in the same boat... that's my next mod.

Comptech CAI should give you a couple more ponies too. Not sure what your goal is.

yeah, i WAS going to put my J's racing intake on, but i think i want to wait for the AEM v2 and see some graphs of that.

next year if i still work full-time.. my goal is 190-200 whp

Why did they stop at 7800rpm?

I will suggest to move the vtec to fix the dip on your plot. Tapering your TB header will also help your mid-range power. I never use FPR and I don't think it will make too much of a difference. Are you running ITR fuel pump ?
