My friend is changing his oil in my garage right now. Not being the brightest around cars, he only picked up 3 quarts of oil. Can anyone check their manuals and tell me how much oil a 2000 H22A Prelude takes? I need this info QUICK!!! If anyone can tell me, i'll gladly send you a stick of gum and some belly button lint!

it need 4 quarts + one and 1/2 quart for the oil filter = 5 (1/2 )quart

if you've got a moroso oil pan, and an oil cooler... it's more like 8 1/2 - 9

 

got a point there. damn moroso oil pan holds that much oil. glad to see both of you not goin at each other in a thread.

 

that reminds me of those damn word problems from elemetary school! lol. If you're putting down tiles and boxes come with 10 each, and the room is 26 tiles by 32 tiles, how many boxes would you need? Always quick to answered i'd put 83.2 not thinking lol

(btw> that would be 84 boxes for those of you trying it)

 

The service manual calls for 5.1 quarts for an H22A for oil and filter change. Mine seems to take 6 to make it to the full mark
