New H-Series Header
Oh my god I want one. But it doesn't look like it would clear the motor mount, nor the crossmemeber on a 5th gen. My god I want one. Who the hell do I talk to about this header? It would go PERFECT with my JRSC.

even length, but the section off the head isn't very straight for very long... the longer and straighter, usually the more HP it produces..... ?

yeah it looks tight, but what is the purpose of it? whats with the bends? i was at the understanding that the straighter the pipe means that there is less resistance, meaning more flow therefor more gains correct? i would love to get more information on this.
Looks nice. Lets see some hp numbers and the availability. Im looking for a nice header. Thinking about getting the hotshot one. 472 isnt bad.

problem is, it's not a 2 peice. The way it seems to me to get a 1 peice in would be a bitch (excuse the language). That's the reason it wouldn't
I'm curious, i have an EK-h22a hatchback (no crossmemeber)... could i use the hotshot header but put an exaust system on it or would it run shitty and loose to much power.
because all i have is an RS*R header which i tought was a mugen.. still looking for the N/A header.... anybody...

i am still trying to figure out how all the curves come into play.
I *suppose* it would make more power because when it exits the head.. it is going straight.. thus creating more flow than regular curvature of traditional header.
not too sure if this will clear a prelude engine bay. maybe hybrid

i see your point on how it is straighter when it comes out. until it hits the wider curves, but what about the torque and the hp? i forget which it is, but depending on the leingth of pipe until the curve will give either more torque or more hp. if i am wrong on this then someone please correct me. personally i think that the ludes need more torque to get off the line do to our large weight factor. there is a multitude of parts that will give us more HP, but what about the torque?

More HP. Compair the jackson racing header vs the DC Sports... the JR gives more, and the first section of tubing on the JR is longer (and straight)

3 questions:
1) Are there any dyno numbers for this header?
2) Is this header for hatch's with h22 in them or can this header fit the prelude body?
3) Can we still keep the A/C or does something have to be moved in order to install this header??
Thanks.

it's not how far out the first bend is that produces power, it's how long the primaries are before the collector that matters.

Well if buddy would actually answer the important questions of clearance for this AN-R Header
A) the front engine mount
b) the front crossmember and
C) A/C compressor
that would help a hell of a lot..

The bends themselves should not affect airflow velocity. And the longer primaries the bends allow generally mean more top-end power. The only problem I can see with all the bends is that it means more welds. And unless all those welds are absolutely perfect, they create more turbulance in the in the existing gasses, which can limit power gains.
Is that going to clear the radiator on a Prelude? It also looks like a 1 piece design. I can't imagine how you would ever fit that onto Prelude in 1 piece...
Header looks like a nice piece of welding work though! I'd hate to be the guy that has to assemble them though. That looks like a lot of work!
