Top 10 most stolen cars, no type R or integra on this list. (according to aol)
probly because they have stolen most of them
Toyota Camry
Honda Accord
Honda Civic
Oldsmobile Cutlass/Supreme/Ciera
Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee
Chevrolet Full Size C/K Pickup
Toyota Corolla
Ford Taurus
Chevrolet Caprice
Ford F150 Pickup

Doesn't surprise considering that most of the people that do these polls don't even know of the R's existance. Either that or they do know, but clasify it is a standard integra.

This list is not based on the %stolen with respect to total production numbers. That's the reason the TypeR won't show up on that list.
I think that may have to do with the amount of Type Rs compared to the number of Civics and the other cars on the road. True a lot of ITRs are stolen, but there are fewer to steel, so it just seems like a lot are stolen. I think I am talking in circles but you see my point

It seems that there are so many different lists of 'top stolen cars'...But statistics dont lie; however, the way they are collected can be misleading.

Integras are the number 1 stolen cars by percentage(you can thank the ITR for that):
July 2002: "There's also the inexplicable chart-topping Acura Integra, which had 20.6 per 1,000." "By comparison, Camrys are stolen at a rate of 1.83 per thousand, which is below average."

LMAO, I like the last line:
"Tom: Of course, the chances of your Lamborghini getting stolen just got higher, now that you've written to us and told us you have a one in your driveway ... and included your return address in the letter, Jon. "
Although I believe the guy used the Lambo ask an example instead of him actuallly owning one.
