Default My Power Windows are not working!

The passenger side stopped working all of a sudden. I have a feeling that it is not the switches but the thing that actually controls the windows going up and down. Anyone know what I should do to fix it or find out the problem? I would like to avoid going to the dealer at all costs.

dennis...don't mess with it
if you take it apart and end not being able to fix it
you will have to bring it back to the dealer
then when they take it apart and see that someones already been in there
they might deny your warranty claim

It's the window motor (I don't know whats it called)...

I've had the same problem. It's dead. They replaced it and it works fine now....

The fuses are fine. If it's the motor, then that is pretty WEAK. The car only has 18k miles or so

Heres a solution:make an appointment for service at your nearest Acura dealer.

Good suggestion. You can always watch them while they work if you dont trust the people that are going to be working on it.

Did j00 check if the window lockout switch wasn't accidentally tripped?

BHAHAHAAHAHH! We-Todd-Did 0wnz me y0! It was indeed that switch. I did not even know my car had that.

Anyways, thanks a lot Pollo. Saved me a trip to the dealer!

Thanks for the help everyone!

PS: They should make it so that the driver can still control it though
