.. in my Si. My plate on my dashlight brightness controller gets very warm. Not sure why. Anyone else have this before? Only happens when the headlights are on for over 20-25 mins when driving at night. Service manual says I need to "remove the dashboard lower panel". Is that necessary or can I push it out by squeezing myself under the dash? It's below freezing here and I'm a lazy *** on my birthday. Thanks.

 

Yeah, you can just push that out...

 

Remove the pannel by squeezing the two tabs togther. check out if there is wires fusing togther. If your are using your heater frequently the wires can get hot and melt thus causing a a short if ya don't catch it soon enough. Put warm threads on and get crackin, Good luck.

 

Yeah I will go out and pry it out today. Thanks. New dial from Majestic Honda is $78.50. Not worth it for my beater. I'll try to clean up the contacts on this one or pick up a used one if need be. Thanks.
