damn both cars are very slow. i would have thought a boosted 2.0L civic would be a little quicker than that. those s281s are dogs.

ummm.....ALL saleen s281 are supercharged, that's why they are S281. The none supercharged are just saleen 281's. The supercharged ones run low 12's....very sweet cars but never would they outlast an import. I'd go for the s351 if i had to get a ford. THOSE are sweet cars. I have a 351 in my 86 ford and it's quite fast, but american.

1) My friend owned a s281. #96 of 1996. (I beleive).

2) If I remember correctly the s281 is not supercharged. The supercharged versions are labeled SC281.

3) A saleen is a saleen people...Civic vs. a Saleen and not getting smoked isn't that bad in my opinion.

4) PS I just watched the video again S281-sc (supercharged).

No they're not rookie.

& No they don't run low 12's from Saleen.

Remember this.

Non-Supercharged Saleen's are called S281's
Supercharged Saleen's are called S281's *365hp*

Now remember Saleen released a new car called "S281-E" That one runs low 12's but it has 425hp.
