piaa extreme whites
would installing piaa extreme whites have a severe affect on wiring harness....they note that 51w=105w...does this mean it gonna pull twice the amount of current to light the bulbs....or that is the output with the same amount of power used to run them as oem bulbs....thanks...also i just ordered ngk wires, plugs ,k&n replacement filter, cap and rotor, and fuel filter...after this tune up do i need to reset my ecu for efficient fuel and air mixture or leave it be...thanks again...
No, they do not draw more power. I used to have Super Plasma, but they went out over a year of use. The other one lasted almost two years. That's pretty good I guess.
I would get PIAA again because it's a brand I trust. I got them because they are "cool." They do NOT offer more light. I knew that going in.
It may seem brighter because of the white light. You see better, not brighter. More info on this, check out my Civic website under my profile.
PIAA make these claims as advertising, that 55w "is like" 100w. 100w from what? a non-halogen bulb??
Again, I'm not knocking PIAA. It's just the facts. Get them because they look good. Don't expect it to be something it's not.
