I have a D16A9 engine (ED7 DOHC 130bhp), and i can get cheaply B16 head. Will it fit on the D16 block? What else than ECU i will need to complete the swap? I dont want whole engine swap because of registrations problems.
Till froday ill try to place here new phtos of the car - it coming back from the paintjob (new bumpers, removed antena).

 

B series parts will not work with D series parts. The b16 head will not bolt on to a d16 block. You will have to use the whole swap.

 

 

What you can do is swap on a Y8 head to your D16A6 block.

no his a9 is dohc the y8 is sohc it won't fit on it, not to mention a loss of power no doubt if he did get it on there, and its d16y8. D only fits D B only fits B H only fits H F only fits F A only fits A, those codes aren't for nothing ja know
