Hey, i found where it is and all. is there anything i have to do for it to show me a code or does it only show a code if somethings' bad?

 

look at the little sightglass, if theres a code the led will be blinking.

 

well it's not, so i guess im okay. would it tell me if my catalytic is blown? or why it kindof backfires a bit when i rev?

 

by backfire, do you mean shoot fire out? or just a gurgle-ish sound? do you have a larger than stock exhaust? the gurgling sound is normal for a larger exhaust. couldn't tell you if your cat's blown from this though.

 

no, not shooting out fire, but when i hit the gas, it almost gives me a bit of a delay.. not long at all, but kindagurgles. When i had the exhaust worked on, the guy put on 2 inch pipes for me, custom bent with a higher flow "turbo 2" muffler. (no resonator) should i get a res?

 

say, what do i do to reset the ecu?
