Default Windshield washers for "racing"

All right, here's the dilemma. My windshield washer reservoir is in the perfect location for a remote oil filter.

So, I can either ditch the fluid reservoir, or I can relocate it, or I need to find a different place for an oil filter.

This car will be/is a trailer queen.

So, if I start with a clean windshield, do I really need washer fluid when I'm on track (figure 20-30 minute sessions).

I've not needed to clean my windshield on a dry day. of course things are different on a muddy, rainy day, which i dont have experience yet.

also keep in mind the rules for your (future?) class if applicable. yeah, washer reserviors need to stay.

If you are talking about SCCA IT, the OEM reservoir has to be there, in the stock location.

I suppose the only rules that I'm subject to would be SCCA Street Modified and SCCA E-Modified rules.

Obviously for E-Modified I can take it out. For street mod, it is a little shakey.

Ooops - didn't know you were talking about SoloII classes. I don't know squat about them.

street mod rules follow street prepared rules, and I can nor find anything in the 2002 rules that specificlly allows the removal or replacement of the resivoir

Street "Modified" class makes you retain the washer bottle. As well as a bunch of other crap that has no business being regulated in a "Modified" class. Like bumper supports.
All these changes are, of course, made mid-season.
No, I'm really not that bitter.

But, it's not a Modified class. It's a STREET class!

Why do we have two of these?
