i'm not familiar with what all the numbers mean in tire sizes and was just wondering if this would work: i have si wheels (14 inch) on a crx - would Falken AZENIS Sport (RS) 195/60HR14 fit ok on the wheels and in the wheel wells? i ask because when i enter my vehicle on tirerack it recommends 185/60.

185/60/14 stock for us
195/60/14 for japan

both will fit

or you can find 195/55/14 which are harder to find and way more expensive...

 

so what is the difference between the 185 and 195? what dimension is it?
i'm just trying to figure out what will change.

195 is 10mm wider than the 185

1st number- 185 = how wide the tread is in MM
2nd number- 60= % ratio of the with in the sidewall
3rd number- 14= how big the rim is...

 

so if its 10 mm wider, will it still fit on my rim ok?

yeah it will be fine...when you get a 205 on it, thats pushing the limits...
