I've been wanting to do the exact same thing for a while. What's the power like with the sr20? I've heard they can handle 400hp stock.

 

yeah..i had originally planned to build an s13 about a year and a half ago..but all my car sale plans fell through..then jay got an s13 a few months ago..so i gave up on that idea.. then my friend decided he wants the new Z instead of his 240..so i took it off his hands..

the sr20 feels decent... its pushing 210 to the wheels right now with a few basic upgrades.. but it pulls nicely.. good power all the way to 7200.. feels a LOT better than my last car so i cant complain..only thing i cant use now are my HID's ..and i miss those more than anything.. driving with halogen is like hell after 3 years of HID..

SR20s are awesome....how much do they cost anyway?? and did you have to buy motor mounts or anything??

 

actually i bought the car with the engine already in it and tuned.. my friend started on this car, then got lazy and gave up..

 

sweet car, im working on my s13 coupe now. i gave up on my civic and figured i could pick up an s13 cheap and i did. i like it, workin on suspension first then inthe spring i buy the sr20. what intercooler are you running? i got my safc too and havent installed it yet, how hard is it to tune it, the instructions suck *****

its a big *** XS skyline core.. i will most likely throw a smaller IC on there some time.. and as for the SAFC..only thing im gonna be touching on that is to aid the cold start..other than that..its tuned nicely for now..

i paid 13,200 w/ suspension.

i honestly dont know.. it all comes down to money.. lately ive gotten pretty good at saving.. but i have a new toy i actually like..so my money might start getting spent again.

 

can you do me a huge favor and take a pic of the sticker on top of his fuse box cover under the hood and post it for me.. i need to know which ones are my headlamp fuses but someone ripped the sticker off..
