..but countless "look at this rice that i found" posts are right on ok, and no one ever uses that same logic against those

im not being a dick.. im just sick of seeing people hate on these cars that they consider rice..but they dont hate on the people who have mismatching carbon fiber all over their cars, dont use their race parts for anything but show, and have pointless parts on their cars only because its from another country..

im just pointing out a double standard as i always do.. i wasnt the one posting cars from ebay to call them "morons" and say "yuck" .. so it looks like im not the dick..dick..

 

I have just as much right to make fun of a car, as he does to make his car look that way.

I am not a double standard, but I do think the double standard you are speaking of is clean.

its like.. if someone posts a car thats "JDM styled" nobody will say anything negative.. and if someone does, he will have like 20 people sticking up for him.. but when someones car isnt "JDM" those same 20 people will clown it even though its the same situation.. 2 guys doing their cars the way they want.. its just one way is OK..and one way is not.. so i point that out.

its just a cover. That is an IASCA sound quality car. He placed 2nd in his class last year I believe.

I think the quality of the stereo work is amazing. I don't think he intended this thing to be a race car. It is an AUTOMATIC so I'm pretty sure speed isn't his priority.

 

majority of the board doesn't like rice, so when we see wacked cars like that we find it comical. MTK why are you even defending a car that looks like that. both u and i know that we wouldn't be caught dead in that car. But as usual your smart *** has something to say. your CF theory has some reasoning behind it (even though i dont agree w/ it), so i let that rest since that is more of an opinion than anything. But please dont defend a car that is that ****** ugly!

im not being a smart ***.. im not even really defending anything but a principle.. if these guys get called "rice" for making their cars how they want, and it doesnt happen to follow the trend of this board.. i think the guys who leave their CF unpainted and dont use their track bred parts should be called ricers too.. cuz that **** is purely for cosmetics too, if unused..

i was merely pointing out that a car like that will get clowned on.. but if 1 person speaks up and says "hey, he did it cuz he likes it" he will get flamed..

but if someones car is "JDM" looking, and someone clowns one thing about that car.. he will get the "hey, he did it cuz he likes it, leave him alone" ...

so what im saying is.. why is it ok for someone to have a checker board "JDM" car, but its not ok for them to have a car like that CRX? they both did what they like.. correct?
