Does anybody's OEM floor mats still match their interior carpet or do they have a bad reputation for fading. My interior is still very nice, and very black. I bought a set of OEM mats off a kid for $20 but when I look at them in my car it doesn't look right. They are almost grey?

 

use fabric paint and get those things looking good again.

 

Hmm, shampoo them down, let them dry for a week or so, and then use this fabric paint sounds like it might work. Any ideas on where to get it, is it a spray bottle?

 

my oem civic mats have faded slightly in some spots to a dark green/blue.. can barely tell

 

If you don't want them. I'll give you $35 bucks for them.

 

I had the same dilema and I bought some fabric paint from the auto store. I just washed them real well, taped off the white stripe and bam! Came out brand new! Here's a pic:



Only thing is, when someone gets in and scrapes the mat with the bottom of their shoe it rubs off a bit. Make sure you put lots of coats on.

 

you can use a spray interior dye it shouldnt scrape off
