just wanted to let everyone know the meet was a great success (1/4 times weren't as successful). there was about 10 type R's coupel of gs-rs and civics etc. i took a bunch of pics but i took them with a normal camera. (quan - who still doesn't want to invest in a digi cam) although dennis took pics but he'll upload them asap when he gets back.

anyways....the place was so packed with cars that it took about an hour to just get passed inspections. Domestics got to go first before the imports. so we had to wait over an hour till they finished then they called the imports up to run. after that it was already lunch time! only one run for me. (hit 14.9 with my gs-r) some other people fell asleep at the line but i'll let them explain themselves. lol

well basically we ended up only getting 3 runs in and we paid $20. that was the only bad thing. last Street Legals i got to run 8 times (i got to sleep eat and just chill) my friends ran over 15 times.

i had a great time kicking it with all the guys. hope we do this again soon. next time we're doing auto X right JOE!

 

oh yea...and of course all the "StuNnAz" came to our group and checked out our cars and someone actually asked a coupel of the guys if their car were type r's. lol

 

nice.. Glad you guys had fun though. i talked to dennis and chris (underratedsi) before one of their runs and they basically told me that it was jammed packed there. I still wish i could have made it. Get them pics posted dennis.

i was there but i dont have an integra. just wanted to know who some of the guys with honda-tech stickers were. i saw a white and black ITR with h-t stickers. who are you guys?

 

mines was the "ITR" w/ CF hood. i had a honda-tech sticker and the black (real) ITR was dennis' ride

 

Who has the other black (real) ITR? I thought I saw two of them?

Sorry fellas I didn't come as promised. It was a long shot considering the fact that I would have had to leave at noon for worx at 2pm. I didn't think it would be worth it to drive all the way to Fontana and back so early. From the sound of it maybe it was for the better.

Well anyways it was a good day but California SPeed way sucked today they need to get ther act together waiting 3 hours for a run is rediculous. Well I had a good time killing ITR's today heheh if I cna get teh vid up with some CPU masters' help I will get the vid up of a cetain ITR with same and better mods getting smoked by me *no names will be said * and the condom explosion on the TYPE ONE EXHAUST LOLOLOL still cant stop laughing at it man somebody post pics.

It was nice to run and have fun with fellow SOCAL ITR's and have a good time and meet new and cool people sorry I could not say buy I could only wait so long before I had to head off to work and the last run of the day was cutting it to short so I had to bail last minute errrrrrrrrr

Based on a true story, but the names have been changed to protect the identity of those involved.

A few of us decided to be straight line ****** for a day at Fontana... and finally an ongoing H-T grudge match was decided. The people involved were a poor college student, with an intake, no power steering and a timing advance, vs. riceboy, with cams, springs, retainers, an ECU, intake, header, cat, exhaust... and a handful of other things that came with the car...

They lined up at the light... riceboy assuming that all of the money he put into his car will make this an easy win... and the poor college student who knew that only his mad driving skillz y0 would allow him this win...

before we announce the winner, would anyone like to take bets on who won?

he finished ahead by about a car length, i, like dennis, fell asleep at the light and got a .999 rt, chris got a .746 rt

had a great time today, too bad i couldn't stay to get one more run. 2 runs for 20 bucks sucks

thanks sleepyR for giving me a tip on launching but too bad i couldn't go again since they let the domestics go twice in a row

 

How about we take RicBoi's car, with a different driver, and see how it does against Chris??? I will assure you the results will not be the same. If the opposing party is willing to accept the offer, I am ready to go.

Alex, dont stress about it too much, you will learn how to drive, launch your car, and nobody will have anything to say, like i said they're all jealous, you got it they dont. And i dont want to hear the excuss that "it came with the car" bottom line, he got it you dont
