OEM Turbo motor from Honda?
In the summer I was at a car show and saw a civic, RHD, VTEC, all from Japan with a turbo. Therre was a badge that said factory turbo 1 of x, I forgot. Is this bullsh*t or did honda make a few turbo concepts and not mass produce them. Anyone have any info?
There have been a few production oEM turbo motors from honda already. Theres a jetski, and a motorcylce, and a subcompact car that never made it to the US market also. Maybe more.
honda needs to start going turbo... they're getting blown away by carmakers like dodge and mazda all coming out with faster, better performing turbo cars. What does Honda make to compete with the 5.9 sec 0-60 neon srt? the new civic si, boooooooo.

ah...honda straight up sucks now. Only thing they have going for them(in America at least) is the S2000.
I would like a 7th gen civic as a commuter though.

Actually, I had heard rumors of a Honda Legend with a 2.0 turbo. I know nothing of the output or anything like that. Redshift racing out of Canada had the motors back in the day...
There is currently the Honda Dunk, which is a small MPV with a 3 cylinder turbocharged engine (I think) - i've seen one being driven around here.. it was featured in a local car magazine, fully Mugenized
I have also seen at the second-hand turbo shops, turbos with "Honda Wing Turbo" stamped on them..
don't know what car they came from, but they're about the same size as a Mitsubishi TD04H turbo, from a VR4..

The Aquatrax f12x is a turbocharged, 1235cc 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, 162hp, 525lb, smooth as silk, quiet, water ROCKET, with no lag, and guaranteed to have you grinning from ear to ear, when you feal the instantaniuos tourqe and speed when you stab the throttle and hold it there as your catapulted to just under 65mph in what seams to be about two seconds! These boats are tight!
There is a place my friends go to, when the get stuff for their cars. They specialize in bringing half cuts in from japan, along with mist. stuff. Name of the company is Jarco Industries. Mostly Nissan and Toyta stuff, it sucks to go up there and see an r34 that has been cut in half. But anyway they have a factory honda turbo motor sitting in their warehouse, I believe it is called a C20T or something like that. But I've seen it and the turbo is HONDA, and it is about the size of a td04.
Yea they need something under 20g's to compete. New Si is weak. 9.8 compression????? Way too low for an all motor and way to heavy.

Well, of course not in the U.S. you big silly. But, I have seen the motors for sale, and so has the guy prior to your post. Also, the "C" series is the "legend/vigor/TL/CL" engine... Would be interesting to learn more about this...well maybe not...
Honda has a car called the City that came factory with a turbo, only available in JDM land ofcourse. I think that Katman from FFsquade has/had one.

sounds perfect for a car known to go 200k miles with minimal maintenance.
